Part of my Vegan MoFo 2013 is doing blog entries dedicated to each year I've been vegan.
I can't believe it's been six years since then, and I have tried so many delicious recipes, learned about so many fantastic vegan businesses, and most importantly, made so many incredible friends that it is literally impossible to imagine how different my life would be today without it.
The PPK's founder, Isa Chandra Moskowitz, is to a lot of vegans what Sarah Kramer and Tanya Barnard were to me- a guiding figure that made veganism not only easy and accessible, but also fun, modern, irreverent, and delicious. Isa is the author and co-author of about 20,000 vegan cookbooks, some of which I own. Why don't you pop over to the PPK or into your nearest independent bookseller to buy one for yourself?
Here are some of my favorite PPK recipes:
Double-batch chickpea cutlets
Pumpkin French toast
Tempeh sausage crumbles
